Happy New Year!
Whoa. I blogged two entire times in 2015. That is two more times than I blogged in 2014, so I’m not going to beat myself up about it.
Here at the shop things are rolling along as we enter our 38th year of business here in the US of A. My little toddler (a/k/a the 6th generation rug dealer) is now two and jumping on rug piles like I did at her age. Some of the oldest customers we have now mistake her for me and me for my mom. It happens.
Like every year, I start off with big plans, and they always include cleaning up the shop and selling some rugs to make more room. Alas, for every one rug we sell, Dad buys two to replace it, so it is quite possible that I will never achieve my goal. Funny how it took me ten years to realize that. Our rug piles are getting quite tall. If you’re in the market, come look for some rugs. If you’re a toddler, come jump on them. Haha! Happy New Year Everyone.
