Name that Persian Rug!

If you’re like me, whenever you watch TV or a movie, you probably notice the homes of the characters and very often think to yourself, “Hmmm…I wonder where they got that coffee table?” or “Ooohhh, that is a pretty rug!” and sometimes, “Daaaaamn, that is one ugly house.” If you have lots of time on your hands, you can usually google your way to having your home look the same as your favorite character’s. However, with “persian rug” turning up over two and a half million hits, that is a lot of pics to look through trying to figure out which rug you just saw on Downton Abbey.

What I suggest instead, is finding a photo of what you want (and this works for non-famous homes as well), and emailing it to me (RugLady@JahannAndSons.com)! I’m happy to tell you what rug is on the floor of Central Perk:

Or what kind of rug “The Dude” had:

And, if you’re in the market for something similar, I’d be happy to help you find one so your rooms can be tied together too:

So, in short, you can take advantage of the hard, expensive work of a set designer, and go to your local furniture and rug shops with photos and just recreate without the hourly designer fee.
