Watch out for Washington Gas Scam

The weirdest thing is happening.  Our old store phone number, 301-962-8181, which is no longer in service and is not a working number, is somehow being used in a scam.  Over the last week, I’ve gotten a few calls asking about my old phone number.  People are getting repeated calls from that number and someone posing as a Washington Gas employee is asking for their personal information.  Do not give them this information.  The person is not calling from Washington Gas or from my store.  They are using an app probably very similar to Caller ID Faker, and anyone can do it.  See?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yzhUq26cCg

Very Sad!  Can’t trust your Caller ID anymore.
