This unique Abadeh Persian rug runner is from a teeny tiny village outside of Shiraz, Iran. Rugs from Abadeh have the whimsy and pattern of a tribal piece, but they have tight, high-end weaves that are more like city pieces. This gives Abadehs a very distinctive look, and makes them a great pick for a high traffic area.
This vintage Abadeh Persian rug is in great shape with all its original parts and no stains, smells, holes or tears. You would never know that it was over 30 years old. It appears to have never been used. Also, it has been cleaned recently. This size of this rug is extremely wide for a runner.
