Here is a really sweet little red Sarouk Persian rug that is just screaming to be at the door of a charming apartment or in an on-trend powder room. (See examples of Persian Rugs in Bathrooms here.) The color of this rug is a cheery, true red. If you’d like to match swatches in order to determine if this will work perfectly with your decor, you’re welcome to mail them to us!
This rug is in excellent condition with no stains, smells, holes or tears, and it has been professionally cleaned recently. We can tell from the colors and style of this rug that it was made sometime in the 1980s and therefore would qualify as vintage, but we are unable to tell from the condition of this piece whether or not it was ever used. The condition is just that good, so it probably just sat in a shop its whole life.
Sarouk is a city in Iran that is close to the rug making cities of Lilihan and Hamadan. If you already have those types of rugs in your home, then this Sarouk Persian rug will most certainly coordinate. This rug is a pair (for now), so if you have a bed that needs a rug on either side, consider this beauty!
