The Heriz Persian rug comes from a region that is known for its beautiful geometric pieces. They just scream ski lodge, sophisticated man caved or eclectic study. Gorovan is a small village close to Heriz that produces pieces that are almost identical in design, but slightly different in weave and price point.
This particular Gorovan Heriz Persian rug is so very pretty, and it has beautiful jewely tones that sparkle. The central portion of the rug is a beautiful deep red. There white corners and pops of royal blue add a visual interest. The pile, edges and fringes of this piece are in practically new condition. This Gorovan Heriz Persian rug was recently professionally cleaned, and I cannot tell exactly whether or not it was ever actually used. You’ll get decades of use out of this rug. Enjoy!
